“What are you chanting about?”– Workshop with Shiran Berkovich
15.04.2023 15.00-17.00
„Vande guru…“ what?
Do you find yourself chanting in Sanskrit, not knowing the meaning of what you are saying?
Are you interested in learning more about Sanskrit chants‘ pronunciation and history?
Would you like to discover your unique and present connection to ancient texts?
If you’ve nodded yes to one or more of the questions above, this workshop is for you!
What Are You Chanting About? A chanting and philosophy-focused workshop.
On Saturday, April 15th, from 15:00-17:00, we’ll get close and personal with the opening and closing chants of the Ashtanga yoga practice, and if time allows, we’ll add a few more.
Plus, beyond understanding the meaning of the texts and pronunciation, we’ll also spice things up with related yoga philosophy and promote uncovering our connection to the ancient text.
There’s nothing wrong about not understanding what we chant about, yet, learning more about and connecting to the chants can enrich our practice and sense of connection to it, ourselves, and everything around us.
Come and join the wonderful Shiran on Saturday, April 15th, 15:00 – 17:00.
29€ or USC check-in + 15€
Please book your spot through Eversports as well.
