CHAKRA SOUND HEALING by AnaRosa
28.9 20:30-22:00
Singing bowls are considered one of the most powerful instruments in the sound healing tradition. Their origin traces back to the Bon shamanic tradition of the Himalayas, which used them in rituals and meditation. Their deep metallic vibrations travel quickly through the water between and inside our cells, creating tremors that are able to release stagnant energy in areas of conflict. This action is what triggers the relaxation response, a state of trance in which our physical and pranic bodies merge, easing the dialogue among them. This is the central premise of tantric healing, a medicine system that has been transmitted for over thousands of years.
In this two-chapter series, we will stimulate the flow of one of the seven main energy centers of our bodies –the chakras– exploring aspects of our being with a spiritual awareness. In each encounter we will use sounds that resonate with the specific chakra at work, and create intervals for releasing and harmonizing the energy contained in them. The singing bowls will be accompanied with other healing instruments and sounds that will help us navigate the altered state of the sonic flux.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and to bring a silent intention, which will serve as a compass for your own personal work.
