Yin Yang – Yoga and Sound
Equalizing our energy is the aim of this practice. We begin with YANG, bringing the focus into our physical body with the active “Mandala Practice”, a Vinyasa Method that connects us with the power of the day through the Mayan Calendar, which operates under the principle of going with the flow of the specific element that ruled the day; Fire, Earth, Water or Air.
The clear intention of the practice allows us to revisit groups of muscles or target areas of the body that will help us reach our goal. This repetition is a constant massagge that starts with the Sun Salutes or Warm Up and is reinforced in different perspectives on the standing and seated series.
This dynamic practice allows mind & body to shift easily into the YIN force, the more passive energy related to the night, by the hand of the sounds and vibrations of Gongs and other instruments in a sound bath, leaving us ready to end the day.
