KAILIN BADAL
My journey in movement began at a young age, with dance, gymnastics, and artistic movement. This foundation led me to study contemporary dance at university, where I earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Dance Performance. Afterward, I deepened my practice by becoming a certified Yoga teacher in Dynamic Mindfulness—a practice that blends Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, and the latest research in movement biomechanics.
I also completed the BASI Pilates Comprehensive Program, where I trained to teach Pilates on the mat and using the Pilates apparatus. For me, Pilates is about restoring natural movement patterns, strengthening the body, improving alignment, and increasing flexibility. Through my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of anatomy and biomechanics, and I truly believe that practicing Pilates helps us develop body awareness and live healthier, more balanced lives.
Additionally, I trained in Somatic Therapy, which enhanced my understanding of the interconnectedness of body, mind, and emotions. This holistic perspective informs my Pilates teaching, allowing me to approach movement in a more integrative way.
