Stress Relieving – Soothing – Meditative

This relaxing, quiet and slow-paced class comprises passive seated and supine poses which are held for a few minutes at a time. This is one of the fastest growing yoga styles in recent years.

Yin Yoga has a soothing effect on the body and mind.  Similar to acupuncture of traditional Chinese medicine, this style of yoga is targeted around the subtle energy channels – the meridian lines. 

Depending on the focus of each class, different meridian channels are addressed. Meaning each session is invigorating, tension-releasing and detoxifying.

 Pregnant women are very welcome in these classes and will receive positions specially tailored to their needs.

All levels are encouraged to join this class.
