SAMA MIRSHAHVALAD
Born and raised in Tehran, Sama embarked on a new chapter in her life when she moved to Germany at the age of 26 to pursue a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Management. This shift to a different culture exposed her to new ideologies and perspectives, prompting her to question her own understanding of reality at a profound level. Thus, her journey of discovery began, delving into what truly resonated with her and uncovering her core essence beyond the influences of culture and societal conditioning.
During this transformative period, Sama found solace in the practice of yoga. As she immersed herself in the vibrant startup scene of Berlin over the course of six years, she eventually made the decision to share her learnings by teaching yoga where it all began.
To Sama, yoga is a path of heightened awareness—a practice that encompasses the body, breath, and mind. She firmly believes that this awareness naturally manifests as self-expression. Consequently, she feels a responsibility to raise awareness and share her genuine passions and concerns with others.
Her yoga classes are an authentic expression of herself and a reflection of her life experiences. As she continues to explore the depths of her mind, body, and soul, she channels these discoveries into her teachings, sharing them with others. Through her teachings, she strives to inspire others to embrace self-awareness, find their authentic voices, and create positive change in their own lives and the world around them.
